About
From the age of 5 Bryan practiced many martial arts including Judo, Karate, Kung Fu before settling as a Muay Thai fighter in Grand Master Skens world famous Sitnarong Camp. With a keen interest in the spiritual aspect of martial arts he studied Mahayana Buddhism and meditation practices under the venerable Tibetan Monk Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
In his early 20's he started to develop a keen interest in botany, plant nutrition, herbal alchemy, plant medicine and ethnobotany. He developed a garden of diverse botanical species from cultures across the world and studied each plant and how it is used.
Through the 90's Bryan connected with the tribal aspect of the dancefloor and managed a techno night, record labels and studio. He travelled as a resident DJ for a free party sound system playing forests, underground clubs and festivals across the UK and into Europe.
An adventurous spirit with Peruvian family connections and a cosmic love affair with the vine led him to travel through the steaming amazon jungle to learn to work with plants and traditional ways of healing.
During his stay in Peru he was opened to a world he never could have imagined. From shadow to work to self-inquiry he worked through a process of deep healing fragmented parts connected and guided by the spirit of plants.
He experienced a soul shattering dark night of the soul whilst in the presence of Madre Toé and Brujo shapeshifters tempting him down the dark path of forbidden sorcery.
After travelling the Amazon tributaries of Loreto he pitched his hammock to stay in the forest with the wise Shipibo tabaquero and ayahuasero Roman Perez and his apprentice.
It was one-night amidst the background of Icaro and rainbow boa he heard the calling of a frog and experienced visions of Doctorcito, a frog healer. The next morning, he was introduced to Kambo which changed the course of his life.
On his return to the UK in 2012 Bryan took a leap of faith, dropped everything, and committed to be in service to others by sharing the gift of Kambo. He spent 3 years self-applying Kambo learning all he could about the magical little frog.
In 2015, research brought him to the International Association of Practitioners, and he applied for Kambo Training. He travelled to the Northwest USA and under the expert guidance of Karen Darke, who carried Kambo from the Brazilian rainforest, was humbly grateful to recieve the life changing blessing to begin sharing Kambo with others and be part of the vibrant IAKP community.
Since training with the IAKP Bryan has qualified as a Kambo teacher allowing him to pass on the lineage of knowledge passed and to him his IAKP collegue teachers from Karen to others who feel the calling.
Today, Bryan has hands in soil tending his garden, contemplates the stars, practices Qi Gong, climbs mountains, spends time with his family and attempts to balance a cup of herbal tea whilst walking the path of spiritual discipline.
Over the past years working with Kambo, Bryan has held space for hundreds of people in ceremony. He serves authentic Kambo from the heart with humility, integrity and respect is open to hold space for you to allow you to do your own healing.
"Someone one once told me, the meaning of life is to find your gift and the purpose of life is to give it away."
